Teacher Appreciation Day

May 6, 2021, is Teacher Appreciation Day in Jamaica. Let us support the ones in the noblest of professions, our teachers. Last year, the Michael McPhearson of the DC Chapter spearheaded an initiative to rally all the overseas alumni chapters to donate towards a goal of JM $1,000,000. Well, folks, we did our part and so did everyone else in the Calabar diaspora; thanks to your kind donations. Read more here as it was well-received by the school. Well, this year, the DC Chapter is rallying the troops once more, with the goal to get all 135 teachers and related staff an appreciation gift of JM$10,000 each. And Florida Rabalacs... that translates to a goal for us to raise $1,600 to do our part. Now, surely we can show some love to our teachers!

Please send your monetary support to DONATE@cbarfla.org using PayPal, CashApp or Zelle. Or simply click here.

We thank you for your philanthropy in the support of our teachers!
